At this time, Flip Pick Companion does not require users to create an account and does not collect, transmit, or store personal information.

Local Device Storage

To provide its features, Flip Pick Companion stores certain information locally on your device.

Local Storage

Because Flip Pick Companion currently stores Song Projects and recordings locally, uninstalling the App may permanently remove that content unless you have backed up your device using your device manufacturer’s backup services.

Future versions may offer optional export or backup features.

User Accounts

Flip Pick Companion does not require users to register, create an account, or sign in.

Analytics and Tracking

Flip Pick Companion does not use advertising SDKs, analytics services, behavioral tracking, crash reporting services, or profiling technologies to monitor user activity.

Device Permissions

Flip Pick Companion requests access only to the device capabilities necessary for features you choose to use.

Audio Playback

The App plays locally generated tones, metronome sounds, reference tuning tones, instructional media, and other educational audio.

Microphone

If you choose to use the Idea Recording feature, the App will request permission to access your device’s microphone.

Microphone access is used solely to record your own musical ideas and voice notes.

Recordings are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to PFV Innovations.

The App does not continuously listen, monitor, or analyze microphone input.

If future versions include an optional chromatic tuner, microphone access may also be used to analyze live instrument audio in real time for tuning purposes. Any such analysis will occur locally on your device, and no audio will be transmitted to PFV Innovations.

External Links

The App may include links to third-party websites, instructional resources, social media platforms, online communities, and online stores, including services such as YouTube, Facebook, Ultimate Guitar, and the Flip Pick Plectrums website.

Once you leave the App, your interactions with those websites are governed by their own privacy policies. PFV Innovations is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

Children’s Privacy

Flip Pick Companion is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and PFV Innovations does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
